The Cellar

Tradition & Passion

The winery Duca di Dolle, housed in an old building on the estate of Rolle – Cison di Valmarino (Treviso), is the place where our grapes, the result of care and attention in every single step, they become Prosecco Superiore DOCG, the highest expression of Glera, authentic symbol of the area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. Attention to the quality of the raw material, minimal intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar, a continuous innovation and research to discover the techniques more respectful of the environment and human being. All this to guarantee to Duca di Dolle wines the maximum naturalness.

The Estate

Lying on the green hills of Rolle Cison of Valmarino Treviso in the heart of the production area of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG the Duca di Dolle winery is rooted in history. Monastic seat since the sixteenth century, and even then the center of wine production, now extends to 75 hectares of vineyards, bush, meadows and pastures. Believing strongly in the enhancement and preservation of the enchanting territory of Rolle, the managment wanted to keep the area as pristine as possible. The Vineyards

The Duca di Dolle vineyards cover about 12 hectares on the estate of Rolle, plus an additional hectare area of Cartizze, in Santo Stefano di Valdobbiadene. The cultivated varieties are typical of the area: Glera, Verdiso and Perera. In 2014 Duca di Dolle has developed a Internal protocol production, designed specifically to ensure the most possible naturalness to its wines and, above all, an environmental management that respects the ecosystem and human being. The internal protocol establishes a clear choice of transparency for the consumer, which ensures the maximum possible effort to obtain wines with no (or very minimum) residual or otherwise, thanks to advanced solutions that improve, in addition to the conditions of both, the vineyards and environment. To reach this, the company initiated a series of collaborations with Universities and Research Centres, Oenology Schools, well known winemakers and agronomists, to reach internal guidelines that would guarantee, through experimental techniques and innovative technology, the best care of the vineyard and at the same time the minimal residual chemicals in the wine and in the environment.
